We are looking for someone to drive and support the development and implementation of various initiatives, lessons learned, and other areas of continuous improvement with the Dig Program. What you will do:

  • Escalate and resolve dig program and Business Unit issues in partnership with the execution Manager.

  • Identify and analyze program challenges, problems and process breakdowns and support continuous improvement of the processes and practices that build value.

  • Establish and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with our sponsors and key partners by knowing and understanding their needs and priorities and engaging and appropriately involving them in decisions and plans that affect them.

  • Provide strategic solutions to challenges and opportunities by challenging status quo, thinking with the end in mind, influencing and facilitating positive collaboration with the right people to optimize value and continuously improve.

  • Act as strategic advisor to the Manager and program team, raising any concerning trends or issues that may affect program goals or objectives.

  • Coordinate with Sponsors and Partners to influence overall scope of digs and how/when they are issued.

  • Proactively communication with Business Units, including communicating risks and opportunities.

  • Identify and recommend enhancements to standards and specifications.

  • Promote consistency across the company with regards to practices and processes

  • Support improvement of the safety culture within Enbridge striving towards zero incidents.

  • Project / Program Management of key or critical projects / programs as required.

Who You Are:

You have the following education and experience:

  • University degree or related construction or operational training and/or experience.

  • Minimum of 10+ years progressively responsible working experience in the pipeline industry, including a strong working knowledge of pipeline engineering principles, industry standards, governmental regulations and complex detailed and/or project management experience.

  • Must have exposure to Engineering, Construction and Field operations.

  • Familiar with industry codes, regulations, standards, and specifications.

  • General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.

  • Predict obstacles, challenges and risks to proactively resolve mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Software experience with: MS Office Suite, Oracle or SAP.

  • Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Collaborative, team- and service-oriented work style.

  • Motivated self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Valid driver's license

Preferred:

  • Experience with programming or IT would be beneficial.

  • PMP Certification

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with some field work required.

  • Scheduled travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities (up to 25%).

  • Available outside normal work hours to address any technical, cost, safety and environmental issues that occur during active projects.
